Description:

This mod adds or enables several Level 5 buildings for various civilized factions.

Specifically, this mod includes:
– Level 5 City
– Level 5 Military Port
– Level 5 Religious Buildings
– Level 5 City Centers (Library, Market, Bazaar)

All of these are "faction unique," meaning you can only build one of each of these buildings. Though I’ve tested and confirmed you can capture another faction’s Level 5 buildings to gain more.

You can install this mod and continue your campaign.

In the other direction, if you have this mod and construct Level 5 buildings with it, make sure you destroy those buildings in game before uninstalling.

Available For:
– Greek Factions (named Greek Imperial Capital)
– Egyptian Factions (named Egyptian Imperial Capital)
– Carthaginian Factions (named Punic Imperial Capital)
– Roman Factions (named Roman Imperial Capital)
– Eastern Factions (named Eastern Imperial Capital)

Effects:
– 10 Food Consumption
– 8 Public Order
– 11 Growth Per Turn
– 600 Wealth from Subsistence
– 8 Artillery on Walls
– 8 Cultural Influence
– 15% Wealth From All Sources

Level 5 Cities also come with a large garrison that varies with the faction that builds it.

Level 5 Ports come with a garrison of 4 elite melee ships.

Currently the libraries have identical effects to Egypt’s Great Library, and the markets have identical effects to Colchis’s Market. I will probably buff these effects slightly in a future update, depending on feedback.

This mod was first released on May 31, 2020, so it’s new and may have errors. Please report bugs! Even something as simple as me using an American spelling (I’m trying to use British spellings in the mod to match the base game).

I’m very open to suggestions. Both for future ideas, modifying these existing buildings, or adding flavor. For flavor, I’m particularly interested in giving unique names to each building depending on the faction that builds it. If, for example, you know of a famous ancient market that had a name, I’d like to update the markets in this mod to that name.

If you want another language added and you’re willing to do the translations for me, let me know.

= Known Issues
================================

I haven’t yet done anything to allow the AI to construct these buildings. This robs you of the chance to capture their Level 5 buildings for now. In the future, a Greek faction might be able to steal a Cartage-AI-constructed Great Cothon, for example.

2020 Jun 21: East
– Added Grand Bazaars and Level 5 Religious buildings for all Eastern factions.
– Fixed Carthaginian Level 5 city garrisons, making them stronger.

2020 Jun 11: Baktria
– Gave Baktria a Level 5 Temple of Zeus, Library, and Market.
– Slightly buffed Greek/Punic Level 5 City garrisons.
– Reduced Port food consumption from 8 to 2, showing that fishing ships operate out of this port.
