Description:
Advanced Wound Reaction is an attempt to give players an alternative reaction to getting severely wounded other than the default ACE unconscious state.

AWR adds a new incapacitated mod where the player or AI will drop/unequip their weapon and fall to the ground. They can still crawl around, but are unable to walk and use their guns (but handgun by a given chance). That way, they can still crawl around and call for a medic instead of laying unconscious and waiting to be found.

In the current version of AWR, there are 3 main options that trigger the incapacitated state as well as some extra settings that you can enable for extra realism.

Pain
The pain option triggers the AWR incapacitated state once the player is in severe pain. They will be unable to get back up until the pain has subsided. This can easily be achieved with a shot of morphine.
For a better experience using the pain setting, it is recommended that people increase the “Player Critical Damage Threshold” in the ACE medical settings. If you set it to 10, you will be more likely to go into the AWR incapacitated state, but still have a chance of going unconscious if the damage is severe enough.
You will also have to increase the “Pain Coefficieny” to at least 1.4 in the ACE medical settings, if you wish for the AWR incapacitated effect to work when getting hit in legs and arms, if you are only using the pain setting.

Damage
Damage uses the same system as ACE uses to trigger the unconscious state. This setting is able to replace the default ace unconscious system almost entirely. If you want this you have to set the “Player Critical Damage Threshold” in the ACE medical settings to be higher than the Torso Damage threshold setting in the AWR Settings.
You can easily put the “Player Critical Damage Threshold” all the way up to 25 in the ACE settings, and then you will only really experience people going unconscious from blood loss and pain if you have that enabled in the ACE settings. The amount of damage needed before going into AWR incapacitated mode is fully customizable in the settings, though if you put it higher than 25 it will never trigger before ACE unconscious does.

Limb Damage
Enabling limb damage adds a reaction to getting shot in the arms and legs.
If one leg is damaged enough you will start to limp and if both legs are damaged enough you will fall to the ground, unable to walk, but still able to crawl around.
If one arm is damaged enough, you will drop/unequip your main weapon, but are still able to use your other arm to hold your pistol, but if that too is damaged enough you will be unable to use any weapons until you have been healed.
You can choose between 3 options if you want this feature to be enabled.
Fractures: The limb reactions will be triggered on fractures and can be healed with a splint.
Damage: The limb reaction will trigger once the limbs reach a certain damage threshold that you can customise in the AWR settings. You can easily be healed with bandages.
Both: Both Fractures and Damage can trigger the limb reactions.
