The Ammo Based Point Defense Cannon.
This is a standalone version of my ammo based PDC.
Do not use with my rebalance mod. The turret is included.
The ammo based PDC is meant to fill the gap between normal Point Defense, and Flak. Bringing a higher damage output, greater accuracy, and direct fire control to the table, the PDC now enables pilots and commanders alike the ability to define their approach to handling CQB.
- One ammo resource feeds the PDC with 20 rounds.
- Two ammo loaded at a time. Has a 40 round magazine.
- Without crew reloading, provides roughly 9 seconds of consistent point defense.
- Roughly twice as effective as vanilla PD.
- Needs roughly 2 crew to maintain ammunition under constant fire.
- Needs 1 crew to maintain ammunition under inconsistent fire.
