Description:
UPDATED for v.119280

This mod aims to make the game a bit slower, more methodical and intuitive. It’s goal is not to be a complete overhaul, but rather a series of relatively small tweaks that result in a less hectic and more engaging experience. I want to keep the game’s balance in Eugen’s hands as much as possible, especially during the Early access period.

All changes:
– vehicles have their speed reduced to more realistic values
– infantry movement speed reduced by 40%
– increased penalties for movement through forests for vehicles
– removed penalty for movement through forest for infantry
– adjusted fuel economy in accordance to speed changes
– road speed is now displayed correctly on the unit cards

– reduced the amount of trees necessary to block line of sight (you can no longer see through forests)

– slightly increased stealth bonus provided by forests
– greatly increased stealth bonus provided by buildings and ruins

– doubled supply capacity of supply vehicles
– added the ability for supply helicopters to refill all ground based supply vehicles
added the ability to sell supply vehicles (implemented in the base game)

– added a few more score options for the conquest game mode (6000,8000,10000,20000,30000,40000,50000,60000)

added coaxial machine guns for soviet tanks and bmp3 (thanks to ruojility)

– removed the unrealistic range/distance scaling from the game (1m IRL is no longer approx. 4m in-game) This is purely a visual change, it doesn’t change gameplay in any way!

– rebalanced infantry vs tank engagements in favor of infantry by increasing aiming time of vehicle based machine guns, reducing reload time of unguided shoulder fired anti-tank weapons as well as slightly reducing their aiming time.

– increased rates of fire of BM-21, LARS and BM-27 to be more in line with reality

A few clarifications:
I’ve set units’ road speed to their maximum speed found online. Off-road speeds are defined as 66% of road speed for tracked vehicles and 50% for wheeled vehicles.
In vanilla, 1 real world meter is about 4 in-game meters, I’ve removed this scaling. All unit ranges are still the same, even though they now appear minuscule, it is only because the vanilla game doesn’t have realistic distances.
