Welcome to the Fantasia – A New Dawn mod:

This is a remake of an old mod I created back in 2015, it aims to add a layer of magic and fantasy to the base game experience (think of it as an expansion to Monks and Mystics).

Magic began to slowly fade from the world when the last Elven empire fell nearly ten thousand years ago. At that time humans were just taking their first steps toward civilization. When they finally reached what they called central Germany, the once proud race were a mere shadow of their former selves. There was some hope, at the dawn of the Early Middle Ages, that magic may return to the world. The last remaning Elven realm managed to a win against the humans, a disease in Iceland brought Dragon-like creatures back to the world, Hellenism still held the minds of the people of Malta, the blood of King Arthur still ran through the Brythonic Celts of Cornwall, and rumors of orcen hordes frightened the people of Western Africa… but by the time the Middle Ages ended the realm of the magical was sadly relegated to legends and myth.

  • Magic system with spellbook, Mages Guild society and special events (must set the Supernatual rule to Unrestricted for the AI to have most of these events).
  • Event to restore magic to the world (unlock magical traits, and the society, for all cultures instead of a few).
  • Orcen culture with custom religion and horde spawning event (based off of pre-HL mongols).
  • Elven cultures with custom religions and formable kingdoms/empire.
  • Integration event for Elven cultures (adsorbing into German culture if ruled by humans).
  • Drakken culture group with formable kingdom (an event chain will spawn them if you play in either the duchy of Iceland or Orkney).
  • Custom portraits (witchhunters, ghouls/mummies, orcs, drakken, and elves) thanks to the Warhammer mod, with permission from Silfae[forum.paradoxplaza.com].
  • Culture breakup event for Drakkens around the year 1100.
  • Buildings for both the Drakken and the Elves.
  • Religion creation events for the Drakken.
  • Expanded Hellenic religion.
  • Arthurian culture with formable kingdom and special events.
  • Rule sets to customize the mod (such as unlocking magic for all cultures at game start).
  • And much more to come!
