Description:
Call for Trial – Call Vassals to Trials

New Update!
-Updated for 1.10 Quill and DLC

The Mod
This mod enables you to call vassals to trials in front of the law. It also adds a new court position Justiciar, which decreases monthly tyranny based on aptitude.

How do I call a Vassal to a Trial?
To call a vassal or a court member to a trial, you need someone as a Justiciar, the higher their diplomacy, the better. Your realm also needs to be feudal.
The vassal will need to agree to the trial (their chance of acceptance is based on their personality), or you need to make them attend it by having them imprisoned.

A vassal can be called to trial because he has committed crimes like attempted kidnapping, murdering close kin, deviancy, rebelling, etc. if they are crimes to the user’s faith.

If the vassal wins the trial, he walks away and all his crimes are forgiven, however, if you win you get to decide his fate.

How do I demand a trial?
When imprisoned by your liege, you can demand a trial.

How do I demand a trial by combat
When the liege calls you for trial or you demand it, there will be a new option to demand a trial by combat. Be careful, though, it can be fatal. Also, make sure to select a Personal Champion if you don’t have family to protect you.

Compatbility
This mod is compatible with everything. It is also save game compatible.

This mod was heavily inspired by the CK2 AGOT Trial feature, so props to the AGOT team.
