Lore of Yin & Yang – Caster Hero Options

Updated for 2.4.0 (Immortal Empires)

If you’re like me and love magic in Warhammer, you might like this mod!

Simple mod to add two new hero options for Cathay called "Shugengan Sorcerers" that use the Dragon-Blooded lord models/voice, but base stats closer to Astromancers / Loremasters of Hoeth to give Cathay access to the lores of Yin and Yang on heroes!

Shugengan Sorcerers are recruitable from the Celestial Barracks chain. This means they are also available on Great Bastions.

Cathayan Nobility – Cathay diplomacy + leadership aura (Requires level 10)
-Ascendant Magic – Miscast reduction, Winds costs reduction, cooldown reduction, power reserves increase
-Dragon’s Rage – +Speed, +Melee attack and +Strength vs Chaos
-Perfected Defence – +Armour and +spell/missile/physical resistance

Mastery of Yang – -1 Winds Costs, +2 melee attack (army), +2% physical resistance (army)
Mastery of Yin – -1 Winds Costs, +2% missile damage (army), +2% missile resistance (army)

– Yang heroes can get Yin traits and vice versa
– Currently all Yin heroes will look the same and all Yang heroes will look the same. (No variants)

This mod edits a few Astromancer table entries just to make the recruitment window look a little less ugly, but it is unlikely to cause incompatibilities as I don’t think they are things that other mods are likely to change. Please let me know if there are any problems as I can potentially remove some UI/polish changes to make this mod more compatible.
