Subnames Simple
Simple little flares for the Versus screen. Most Bosses and Characters now have little flavor text on their names, Thematic Callbacks and funny refrences galore!
– Loud & Noisy: Original creator, advisor, RB/Rep namer, co-artist, and publisher.
– Robby Shenanigans: 2nd Torch Barer,AB+/Rep namer, Main developer.
– Swift: 1st Torch Barer, AB Boss namer.
– YazawaAkio: font provider.
Q: Is this compatible with X Mod?
A: Does X mod mess with the base game sprites for the Boss Name Cards? If not, then it should work completly fine. Otherwise you would need to mess with the mod files manually by removing the files you don’t want that conflict with files here (Note: this will cause the changed mods to not be auto updated).
Q: Will we be doing modded stuff later down the line?
A: Maybe. Depending if it would be easy and effortless to do, or if a mod is big and popular enough like Fiend Folio or Revelations.
Q: Will Tainted Characters get their own unique subnames?
A: Currently, no. With the exception of Tainted Jacob, it’s pretty much impossible in our abilities to give Tainted Characters their own unique Name Cards since they just share them with their regular counter parts.
