IMPORTANT: Im sorry to tell you, but at the moment I will not maintain this mod anymore.

Due to the lack of variety in shield generators i decided to improve both, small and large shield generators.
For me the vanilla shield generators are prototypes and my mod aims to finish those prototypes.
Large shield generators are not ready yet and therefor not implemented in this mod for now.
Feedback is appreciated and future changed may be possible to balance it even more.

Due to changes from coils to hyper-coils, some internal rebuilding and more power input, it was possible to increase the shield strength and arc for the small shield generator. With some more tweaking and changing from coils to hypercoils it was also possible to adjust how the arc is generated.

We are now working hard on improving the large shield generator, to project its arc through armor like the small shield generator and improving its performance similiar to the small shield generator.

This Mod adds 3 new Shield Generators. 1 normal, 1 straight and 1 angled.

    Advanced Small Shield Generator :

  • Costs: 60 Steel + 20 Coils + 20 Hyper Coils
  • Command Points: -4
  • Shield Strength: 30000
  • Shield Pen. Resist: -50 meters
  • Shield Arc: 110°
  • Shield Distance: 8,5 meters
  • Power Use: 0,15/sec
  • Power Capacity: 6
  • Mass: 6 tonnes
  • Hit Points: 8000

    Advanced Small Shield Generator (Straight) :

  • Costs: 60 Steel + 16 Coils + 24 Hyper Coils
  • Command Points: -4
  • Shield Strength: 28500
  • Shield Pen. Resist: -50 meters
  • Shield Arc: 15°
  • Shield Distance: 7,5 meters
  • Power Use: 0,17/sec
  • Power Capacity: 6
  • Mass: 6 tonnes

    Advanced Small Shield Generator (Angled) :
