The Old Confederacy: Switzerland Events & Decisions
In the base game Switzerland is thrown into the game already owning most of its provinces as an administrative republic with not very many events, but its history is much more complicated than that!
Did you know that Switzerland was actually in a state of civil war in 1444? The Old Zurich War had been raging for nearly a decade, and the result lead to Switzerland becoming a more cohesive and defined nation.
The Old Swiss Confederacy had only formed a century before the start of EU4, and was not quite yet the size as it is today. At that point many of its current territories were still independent. The country also had an interesting government that was completely different from any other in Europe at the time.
This Mod is meant bring some historical light to region, as well as give new gameplay mechanics to this unique country! Changes include:
– New Events, Decisions and Gameplay Mechanics!
– New Swiss Confederacy Government with a Parliament and the immortal unchanging Tagsatzung leader!
– Rural Canton, City Canton, and Condominium Province Modifiers!
– Rural and City Canton estates to rule over your Condominiums!
– New Associate Subject Type!This mod was made with all the DLCs so if you don’t have them all then you might not get the full capability. It also might not work with any mods that also change the history files of the region.
