Historical Refinement Pack
A pack with refinements to EU4 that I feel should have been included, addressed or just generally improving the game experience.
If you would like your mod adding to this pack, feel free to message me and I will include your mod and give you appropriate credit. Bear in mind, I’m ideally looking for mods that are small or medium sized in nature to help gather various mods in a single place.

MAIN FEATURES:-
End Game Crisis
– The French Revolution has been massively overhauled and includes the Coalition Wars for France to gain power through. It is up to the European powers to stop France and Napoleon before he becomes unstoppable
– A normal revolution can happen for any Western European country if France doesn’t meet the requirements (ie. it’s capital is in Europe, it’s a monarchy, has 500 development and has the Enlightenment)
– In both cases, the First Coalition War can happen, but only France has any content beyond that
– Napoleon can arise if they own Corsica or if they are an Italian nation
Institution Revamp
– Overhauled Institution spreading. The world should be on a fairly even footing until Manufactories where Europe will start accelerating away until it has a decisive lead by late-game
Culture Revamp
– Cultures are now (mostly) in their appropriate culture groups. No more Turkish in Arabic group or Slovak in Carpathian group, etc.
Colonial Revamp
– Colonising nations will now only colonise in their historical areas before the Age of Revolutions. After that, anything is up for grabs.
New Events and Revamped Events
– Many new events that bring that little bit more flavour to the world. Revamped some events and even some old and forgotten events to make them more relevant and assist with historical outcomes.

Once downloaded, extract the folder and the .mod files to your documents folder where you paradox save files are (usually located in "C:/[username]/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis IV/mod"). The folder and the .mod file should go in that location.
Note: Cannot guarantee compatibility between Steam and downloadable version as EU4 likes to get fussy with checksums so multiplayer is likely not an option between the two versions. All players will have to have the same version together with compatible checksum in order to play it.
