Book of Belial Synergies!
I think most people would agree that Judas’ Birthright is one of if not the most creative birthrights in the game. However, their are a quite a few items that I feel could have synergies, but don’t. So, I added them!
Anarchist Cookbook: Troll Bombs become hot bombs and deal 1.2x damage.
Box of Spiders: Spawns belial spiders that deal 3x your damage and apply burn on hit.
Jar of Flies: Spawn belial flies that grant +0.47 damage while alive.
D20: Pickups that reroll into hearts have a 25% chance to turn into black hearts.
Deck of Cards: Spawns a devil card in addition to the regular card.
Lemon Mishap: Spawns special red creep that deals 4x your damage.
Free Lemonade: Spawns special red creep that deals 4x your damage.
Mr. Boom: The Mr. Boom bomb deals 2x it’s normal damage and gains the hot bombs effect.
The Necronomicion: Burns all enemies on top of damage.
Teleport: Grants an chance to teleport to the devil/angel room.
Portable Slot: Grants a temporary +0.5 damage up upon a payout.
Book of Sin: Grants a temporary damage up that scales with the quality of the spawned pickup.
Box of Friends: Grants +1 temporary damage for each familiar you have. Grants a Lil Brimstone familiar instead of Demon Baby if you have no familiars.
D12: Grants +0.15 temporary damage for each grid rerolled.
Teleport 2.0: Grants +2 temporary damage for the room to teleport into.
D1: Duplicated hearts have a 33% to turn into black hearts.
Compost: Grants +0.1 temporary damage for each spider and fly you have.
Mystery Gift: If it would spawn The Poop, it instead spawns an item from the Devil Pool.
Moving Box: Grants +0.9 extra damage for each item in the box and +0.2 damage for regular pickups.
Book of Shadows: Enemies that you come into contact with ignite. (idea by Valorium)
Crystal Ball: Spawned soul hearts become black hearts. (idea by Valorium)
Best Friend: Spawn fires in a hexegonal pattern upon exploding. (idea by Valorium)
Dead Sea Scrolls: Active items are choosen from the devil pool instead, barring a few exceptions, such as Razor Blade. (idea by Valorium).
Monstro’s Tooth: Spawns Monstro II instead, who fires a brimstone at a nearby enemy before leaving. (idea by Valorium)
The Poop: 50% chance to spawn a black poop instead. (idea by Valorium)
Yum Heart: Grants temporary damage for each heart you have. (idea by Valorium)
Book of the Dead: Spawned white bonies become red champions. (idea by Valorium)
Sharp Straw: 5% chance to spawn a black heart for each enemy damaged. (idea by Valorium)
Keeper’s Box: Spawned items are taken from the curse room pool instead of the shop pool. (idea by Valorium)
This mod has EID compatibility. Please report any found bugs, but check that this isn’t a known issue before reporting. If you have an idea for a new synergy, please let me know!
