9/19/23 Update 7
Updated for 4.0.3 – Fixed multiple issues including campaign portraits, missing textures, and spawning of lords/heroes multiple times across Bret. factions.

Hello & Welcome!

Purpose of the mod: I wanted to give Bretonnia a little bit of extra flavor and lean into the idea of regional houses that provide professional and specialized infantry units that give more flexibility and options in IE campaign. This is completely lore inaccurate but hey, that’s show business babeee. As with all mods, they are typically a work in progress and this one is no different. I hope you enjoy it, please leave comments if you experience issues and I’ll address them as soon as possible.

Compatibility: A new campaign will be needed for this mod to work correctly, and you won’t be able add/remove the mod in an ongoing campaign. I can’t make any guarantees but this mod should work with most other mods (tested primarily with QoL mods and other Bretonnia IE campaign mods) outside of overhauls. PVP multiplayer works, however, CO-OP is kind of a ♥♥♥♥ show, but I’m trying to get that working without crashing so I’ll give the obligatory warning: **USE AT YOUR OWN RISK FOR MULTIPLAYER CAMPAIGNS**

Requests: I won’t be creating a submod for SFO or Radious, so please don’t spam the comments asking for it. I have nothing against SFO/Radious it’s just a matter of availability and other projects in the works. This mod took far longer to make than I intended with my real life schedule being pretty hectic, so please keep that in mind. If you have a suggestion for changes/request for something to be added, just ask me and if I feel it is within reason given my time constraints, I’ll do what I can.

I’ve added a total of 4 buildings, 3 Legendary Lords, 3 Heroes, and 7 Units (1 being a ROR). All units have been balanced at Ultra unit size but should work just fine for smaller unit sizes. Note: Since Bretonnia is balanced around their cavalry play and lower tier peasant units, adding these units (I’ve tried to balance them to fit within IE and its tendency to flood you with enemy armies) will make the campaign easier. I’d recommend upping the difficulty if you are looking to keep your campaign challenging without curb stomping everything in your sight. Now for the fun stuff.

Thanks for stopping by, and have fun storming the castle!
