Ifri Demo! – Requiem of the Broken One
A little bit of context… Ifri is a spirit, a species that originates from the game "Ori and the Blind Forest" by Moon Studios!
Ifri is a mobility focused character who starts with low damage but has high speed and can jump!
Ifri’s speed stat is a little bit special, however… It cannot fall below 1.5! Just be careful, this mechanic works by rock bottom rules, so speed downs *are* still there, but they won’t affect you if they bring you below 1.5 speed!
Ifri’s damage stat is also a little bit special. ALL of Ifri’s damage, including damage up items, are only 90% as effective as they normally are!
Ifri also occasionally shoots charming tears that last twice as long as they normally do! This will help to compensate his lower overall damage throughout the run!
Tainted Ifri starts with 12 red hearts that will heal instantly upon being damaged!
(He also inherits his non-tainted version’s speed ability!)
However, Each time T. Ifri is hit, one of his hearts will break. Broken hearts are useless and cannot be fixed. This effectively means that T. Ifri can get hit 12 times in a single run before being killed. (This also means that Tainted Ifri dies PERMANENTLY in Co-op)
Not everything is so terrible, though! Tainted Ifri can trade away his hearts in devil deals without losing any of his 12 hits! This is also the only way that Tainted Ifri can acquire Soul and Black hearts!
