Rename your Country
Rename your country is a very simple mod, it adds a decision for valid countries to fire an event that will have different names available, depending on circumstances (Republican Empire rank Great Britain can rename to United Republic for example).
Default names (adjective) that are changed are:
Roman Empire (Roman) -> Rome (unchanged), Holy Roman Empire -> Unchanged (Holy Roman),
Korea -> Joseon (Joseon).
Current countries that can be renamed are, in no particular order:
Rome, Byzantium, Ottomans, Great Britain, Holy Roman Empire, United States, Commonwealth, Ming, Qing, Yuan, Mongolia, Mongol Empire, Joseon, Timurids, Bohemia, Nitra, Persia, Hindustan, Uzbek, Transoxiana and Switzerland.
A full list of all names and their requirements is available on the discord server linked below, I’d put them here but there’s only so much room for text in this description.
More countries will be added to this list as they are done. Note that with the few exceptions of Rome, HRE, Byzantium, Great Britain and Ottomans things like Republic of x and x Empire are likely to be rejected, unless there is a very good reason (or you’re PDX who set a weird precedent with the Mongol Empire tag…). If you want those take a look at the Dynamic Names mod or it’s spiritual successor Dynamic Names 2, or any such alternatives should they be available.
If you have suggestions for more names feel free to suggest them on My Discord[discord.gg] in the #Minor Mod Suggestions channel, I disable steam comments as managing all my mods comments sections got annoying and I’d rather keep stuff in one place to keep better track of.
