SI: Scenarios

This is a sub mod to "Sandbox Initiated" which adds multiple scenarios to play, you’ll find these scenarios in the scenario selection dropdown in MCT (check screenshot). Adding these scenarios will increase start up load time, it is not frozen unless you have some other issue with your mods!

War of the Beard II

With tensions simmering to a boiling point with the Dawi, the Asur are now determined to deal with their bitter rivals once and for all and reclaim what was long considered lost: the first Phoenix Crown.

DETAILS:

All elves and dwarfs factions will unite under Prince Tyrion for the high elves and High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer for the dwarfs respectively. Both factions will be locked in war with diplomacy being impossible on either side. If the player picks either a high elf or dwarf faction then the all other respective race factions will confederate under whoever the player picks. This scenario presents a dilemma with other order factions as siding with the either the dwarfs or high elves in any form of diplomacy may eventually bring the wraith of the opposing side.

Beast WAAAGH!!!

Wurrzag’s prophecy of Gork and Mork comes to fruition with Grimgor and Skarsnik uniting all greenskins with the ultimate WAAAGHH!!! Now with the orges viewing Grimgor as the living avatar of the Great Maw.. will the known world survive what is to come?

DETAILS:

All orc factions will confederate under Grimgor and all orge factions will unite under Greasus and both factions will have excellent relations with each other and will be in permanent war with the rest of known world. If the player plays as another orc or orge legendary lord then the orc or respective orge factions will confederate under whoever the player picks.

Revenge of the Witch King

Malekith determined to claim his birthright once again.. has rallied his fellow Druchii in a final assault on Ulthuan. However, this time the Witch King’s ambitions does not stop with just the Asur’s blessed island but to bring Druchii supremacy to the rest of the known world as well… all will bow to the Witch King, the true ruler of the Phoneix Throne!

DETAILS:

All dark elf factions will confederate under Malekith and will be in permanent war with the rest of the known world. If the player plays a dark elf faction other than Malekith then all dark elves will confederate under whoever the player chooses.

Vermintide

The Skaven race has accomplished the impossible to building a united front in order to begin their ‘Great Ascendancy’ and summon forth their foul deity the ‘Horned Rat’ to usher in the downfall of the surface world!

DETAILS:

All skaven races will be in permanent war with the rest of the known world with the exception of chaos factions. Skaven factions do not confederate with each other but have excellent relations with each other and will be able to easily perform military alliances and confederations at their own leisure.

The Great Plan

The Slann Mage-Priests have heard the echos of the Old Ones. Now "The Great Plan" must be executed.

DETAILS:

All lizardmen factions will confederate under Lord Mazdamundi and will be in permanent war with the rest of the known world. If the player plays a lizardmen faction other than Lord Mazdamundi then all lizardmen will confederate under whoever the player chooses.

The End Times

Can you feel it? From the North it comes. The tendrils of chaos spread south.. tainting the lands.. and with it the Warriors of Chaos march. We must ready ourselves… for war is coming. But who has brought the warring tribes together? What manner of champion holds that power?

DETAILS:

This is the ‘ultimate’ scenario which is combination of "Vermintide", "Beast WAAAGH!!!", a vampireNagash and tomb king war and finally a united chaos front. Archaon will confederate all WoC factions and will vassalize all other relevant chaos factions (this includes Kemmler). Almost all races will confederate with the exception of the skaven. If the player picks any chaos faction then the vassalization will not happened as it was too buggy during testing but all chaos factions will have perfect relations and military alliances will form organically. Archaon will be the "final" boss in this scenario and will be a significant challenge for anyone playing one the order races (I recommend the Empire of course!). Playing as Kislev or Kemmler will be one of the hardest challenges in the game with random placements turned off. Some other notable pieces is that Order factions and Vlad will be "friends" and can work together against chaos. Aranessa Saltspite will also work with Order factions more readily. There is a lot to discover in this scenario… and truly is TOTAL WAR.
