Description:
What Is This?

This mod makes logging in a little bit more immersive.

When a player logs in, they will slowly open their eyes while lying down.

This also helps with exploiting x-ray vision when logging in on a computer that doesn’t load all the surrounding walls in quickly, and prevents the player from being able to gun down anyone standing next to them after logging in as the player needs to stand up first before they can do anything.

The mod also creates a fire next to the player when they first spawn a fresh character, giving the impression they were sleeping by a fire and suddenly awoke instead of just appearing already standing. The fireplace extinguishes itself after a few seconds to prevent suiciding on it or being able to use the fireplace for warmth etc, and the ashes will despawn as soon as the player leaves the area.

You can disable the fireplace being created when a player spawns a new character by creating a .txt file in your server profiles folder.

If you create a file called "disablespawnfire.txt" in the directory "server_root/profiles/Zenarchist/disablespawnfire.txt" then the mod will not spawn a fire next to freshly spawned players.

Installation Instructions:

Install this mod like any other mod – copy it into your server folder and add it to your mods list. It must be run on both server and client. Make sure to copy the .bikey into your server keys if you’re not using a server management tool like OmegaManager which does that automatically.

Repack & Source Code:

Unfortunately due to lack of time I can’t maintain all of my mods all of the time. I do my best, but these mods are offered as-is. If there’s a problem, you have the source code and my permission to fix it yourself and upload a fixed version to the workshop without any credit necessary. It’s all free.

You can repack this mod if you like, and do anything else you want with it for that matter. The source code is on my GitHub at www.zenarchist.io

Enjoy!
