DESCRIPTIONThe "Wildfire" 25mm towed anti-air autocannon is a vital piece of equipment in the arsenal of the Newquay Armed Forces. The gun is designed specifically to provide mobile air defence for ground troops, allowing them to engage enemy aircraft and UAVs. The Wildfire’s compact size and ease of manoeuvrability make it an ideal weapon for fast-paced battlefields, where the ability to quickly reposition and respond to changing threats is critical.
Despite its simple design and low costs, the weapon is an attractive option for both military units & insurgent cells alike on a budget. The Wildfire is also easy to maintain, keeping operating costs low and helping to ensure the weapon’s long-term viability. Despite its simplicity, the Wildfire has proven to be an effective weapon in the field, earning it a reputation as a dependable and cost-efficient piece of equipment. As the influx of MANPADs & light SAMs such as the "Spiral" have increased, the Wildfire has become less dependable as an anti-air weapon and within a modern day battlefield, has been mostly reserved for fire suppression.
