Cabinet of Wonders – A Flavor Mod

Cabinet of Wonder aims to add flavor to several Nations, Regions and Cultures in Victoria 3. Right now it features flavor for Switzerland, the Region of Piedmont and Greece.

If you have Morgenröte – Dawn of Flavor activated, the observatory events from my mod will fire when you build an observatory as Switzerland or Greece.

Do you want to expand as Switzerland, but all your neighbours are too strong and Switzerland is supposed to be neutral anyways? Well then just use your diplomatic skills and create allies all over the world!

Update 0.4 Louis Napoléon is named after Louis Napoléon[en.wikipedia.org], a Swiss citizen, nephew of Napoléon Bonaparte and later Emperor of France.

Louis Napoléon features:

• Finished: Napoléonhandel: An event chain about the extradition of Louis Napoléon to France.
• Finished: Savoyerhandel: An event chain about the Neutrality of Northern Savoy that will allow you to get all of Savoy as Switzerland.
  In Progress: New micro Nations: Small Nations that can somehow get into Switzerlands sphere of influence. Including different Flags for different government forms.
  In Progress: Zugewandter Ort: A new subject exclusive to Switzerland with events to either get closer to Switzerland and become a part of it or slowly shift away from it.
  in Progress: Make your small Neighbours a so called Zugewandter Ort. A subject that can either join Switzerland or leave Switzerland again with events. You can even support them in building their industry via events. Making other Nations Zugewandter Ort is limited to Switzerland and only possible for the player (except for Savoy).
  in Progress: More event interactions between Switzerland and the Zugewandter Ort.
  Planned: Overview window to see all your Zugewandte Orte and manage them.
  Planned: Diplomatic incidents for Switzerland

Are you sick of conquering the world? Does your victorian nation need a new goal? How about saving the alpine ibex from certain extinction?

Update 0.3 Coaz is named after Johann Wilhelm Coaz[en.wikipedia.org], a Swiss mountaineer, founder of the "Schweizerische Centralanstalt für das forstliche Versuchswesen" and pioneer of the idea of a Swiss National Park.

Coaz features:

• The first flavor outside of Switzerland featuring the creation of the Royal Hunting Reserve of Gran Paradiso or the National Park of Gran Paradiso.
• Events to stabilize the ibex population of Gran Paradiso and keep the alpine ibex from extinction (or alternatively fail and cause the extinction of the alpine ibex.
• Build your own animal park in Switzerland and add several animals to it.
• Returning the ibex to Switzerland either by cooperation with the owner of Piedmont or stealing ibex from there.
• Breeding of ibex in the animal park to later release them in the National Park.
• Get a very special Ibex and name him yourself!
• Foundation of the Swiss National Park
• Grow the Ibex population in the Swiss National Park
• A new building: The National Park

I hope to add more events that are compatible with the Mod Morgenröte – Dawn of Flavor in the future, as I like the systems it adds very much. Right now there is an event when you build your first Observatory from Morgenröte as Switzerland. If you do not have Morgenröte, the event will fire when you reach a certain date.

I also highly recommend mods that add the treaty of Plombières to the game as that will raise the chance of encountering the Savoyerhandel in the game.
