    This mod makes Conquest harder. DO NOT PLAY if you can’t handle the difficulty…. We don’t want to hear it. The goal of this mod is remaking the core aspects of Conquest Enhanced with an emphasis on polish, performance and stability. This will not contain all the features of CE, but the most popular/main aspects of the mod. The scale of battles has been scaled down to improve performance and difficulty.



    New Features

    New Gameplay Features

    • Defense level research now gives you emplacements, ammo resupply zones, and crates with mines and handheld AT
    • New star call ins: Artillery strikes, Air recon, Air ammo drop, Smoke barrage, Light bombing run, Controllable plane
    • A lot of new buildable fortifications for engineers
    • New fortifications for emplacements
    • New off map support callins
    • Vehicles and searchlight can fortify themselves with sandbags
    • Reworked chat wheel (N) that adds new functions: send 5 soldiers with no ammo to auto resupply, change weather, teleport units to the middle of the map (when defending)
    • New sabotage event: captured vehicles and emplacements have a chance to be sabotaged by the AI (with new event dialogue in game)
    • Added paradroppable emplacements

    New AI Features

    • AI now uses a unique division system that corresponds to each war period (early,mid,late) and has more than 15 different divisions, so every battle you may face AI with a different coherent army composition
    • AI repairs and re-crews abandoned vehicles and emplacements
    • AI can also call in new support abilities if they have a signaler on the field (with new event dialogue in game)
    • AI can use smoke grenades
    • Added AI patrol logic for AI defenders
    • AI now try and reverse there tanks out when damaged to repair.
    • Arty gun rework for both player and AI.

    Additional Units

    • Minesweepers
    • Many new late game elite squads for all factions
    • Elite sniper teams

    Maps

    • Reworked spawn positions for maps with bad spawn placement in vanilla
    • Over 120+ maps in the mod
    • Ability to select what region your maps are pulled from (Western Europe, Eastern Europe etc.)

    Interface

    • You can zoom out as far as you want
    • New Main Menu background

    Changes

    AI Army Changes

    • AI now has now emplacements on and around points, so now every attack will pose a challenge. You will no longer be able to just drive up your tanks unopposed
    • AI reinforcement time has been adjusted based on flag count
    • Made AI infantry to be more cautious when attacking

    Player Army Changes

    • You can call in all your armies at once so you don’t have to wait for anything
    • Weapons are now deadlier

    Gameplay Changes

    • Increased player count for coop
    • Conquest campaign naturally divided into 3 stages (early, mid and late) that allow you to experience all phases of war with increasing challenge
    • Health difficulty adjusted to be more hardcore
    • Units in cover are harder to hit
    • Bleedout timer is prolonged
    • Defenses are prolonged and should take ~30 minutes (if no flags lost)
    • Bigger penalty for losing flags in defense (battle will take longer)

    Cost Balance

    • Revamped MP,CP and research costs of units. No longer infantry squads costing the same as a tank and emplacements being redundant due to Tanks being always the better option. This rework promotes an army composition that is varied

    Unit Balance

    • Officers – Increased view range for binoculars
    • Engineers repair vehicles at 200% speed while normal infantry at 30% and tankmen at 100%
    • Recon units have better vision and stealth units have better stealth
    • Recon vehicles now have a purpose with increased optics and stealth

    Mission Rewards

    • Bigger resource income that increases with time

    Quality Improvements

    • Performance optimization
    • Improved unit pathing
    • A configuration tool inside the mod files to edit and change gameplay settings to your liking! Just look for the CE_Configuration tool folder in the root mod folder and launch the exe.
