Description:

This mod is a fan creation of Touhou Project and may differ from the original game. DLC "Gathering Storm" is needed.

I have translated it into English with the help of ChatGPT. If you find any issues, please contact me.

You can choose English or Chinese to play this MOD and English is the default language. Other languages will be added if someone can translate it.

Leader: Hina Kagiyama

Stockpiling misfortune: Units take no damage from most environmental effects. If a battle occurs in a tile with negative Appeal, your units gain +1 Combat Strength for each point of negative Appeal (up to 33). For every 3 negative Appeal, +1 Production to hills (up to a maximum of +3). Non-allied units in your territory have a chance to take damage or be struck by a storm. Every 12 turns (standard speed), your existing cities lose 1 Appeal. Exclusive unique Governor "Nitori Kawashiro".

Unique Building:

Broken Amulet: Unique building replaces the ancient walls and has lower external defense, but it is provided for free when a new city is founded. Provides +1 Faith. When the external defense of the city center is reduced, there is a chance for a severe storm to occur nearby.

Unique Governor: Nitori Kawashiro

Hydrology Expert: +1 Science for each Lake tile and plots adjacent to lake or river in this city. Additionally, provides an extra +1 Science for each new era you entered.

Faith Engineer: After entering the Renaissance Era, buildings in Campus, Industrial Zone, and Commercial Hub can be purchased by Faith in this city.

Misfortune Energy Turbo: After entering the Industrial Era, you can build the "Misfortune Energy Plant" improvement on hills in this city. It provides +3 Production and an equal amount of Power for the city based on the negative appeal of the tile (up to 33).

Religious Economy: After entering the Modern Era, if this city has a Commercial Hub, provides Gold equal to your Faith generation in this city. If this city has an Industrial Zone, provides Production equal to 50% of your Faith generation in this city.

Apocalypse Science: After entering the Atomic Era, the city’s Campus gains Science equal to triple the negative appeal of the tile it’s built on (up to 99), and the Industrial Zone gains Production equal to triple the negative appeal of the tile it’s built on (up to 99).

Galactic Guide: After entering the Information Era, hinadan, research lab, factory, and stock exchange in this city can all accelerate space projects by 33%. If you have all of these buildings in this city, whenever you complete a space race project here, you automatically acquire the technology required for the next stage of the space race project.

Civilization: Land of Nagashi-bina

Nagashi-bina: Does not receive damage from Floods and unable to build Dams. +1 Culture to river tiles. Before you enter the Renaissance Era, whenever a natural disaster occurs near one of your cities with 3 or more Citizens, decreases 1 Citizen to the city, but if the city also has a Misfortune Road, provides +1 Faith to its tiles. After you entering the Renaissance Era, unlocks the unique project "Hinamatsuri" for all civilizations. When other civilizations complete the "Hinamatsuri", -1 Appeal to your existing cities.

Hinamatsuri: Once finished, grants a one time Gold bonus equal to 3 times your Faith per turn, provides a small amount of Great Person points for Great Merchants, Great Writers, Great Artists, and Great Musicians, and +1 Culture to all tiles adjacent to the river in the city. If the city has a Misfortune Road, it will also add +1 Faith to all tiles in the city. Provides +3 Amenities when active.

Unique Unit:

Misfortune Messenger: Unique unit that replaces Apostle which can only be purchased with Faith in cities that have a Hinadan and follow a specific religion. When moving, it automatically creates a road at its location. After exhausting all of its spreads, creates 1 Envoy and 1 Relic.

Unique Building:

Hinadan: Unique Misfortune Road building of Land of Nagashi-bina. Provides +3 Faith and 3 Great Work slots, as well as 1 unique luxury resource Hina Doll. Great Works in this city provide 100% more Tourism. (PrereqCivic: Reformed Church)

Unique District:

Misfortune Road: A district unique to Land of Nagashi-bina that can only be built on Forest, Rainforest, or Floodplains and only one can be built per city. Unlocks the "Purifying Fire" project and provides a standard adjacency bonus to adjacent Holy Sites. If the city has a Governor, most natural disasters cannot damage its improvements, buildings, and districts. Starting from the Renaissance Era, it provides 9 Nagashi-hinas to your empire and 1 Nagashi-hina to other civilizations per turn.

Purifying Fire: District-based project which provides a small amount of Great Prophet points once finished, and several smaller storms appear near the city. Within 30 turns (standard speed) after the completion of the project, the probability of units being affected by misfortune in the city’s range is reduced, and this effect gradually diminishes over time. Provides Faith equal to 50% of the city’s Production per turn when active.
