Description:
What is this sub-mod about?

India is represented as historically as it can get according to Ante Bellum official lore[tm] and some people who joke about it too much. If you know Ante Bellum lore very well, you knew that as of mod’s version 1.7 “India isn’t real” is a completely correct statement and since India update hasn’t been announced yet, there goes a mod that corrects this grevious incorrectness from the base Ante Bellum’s map. In case you are not updated in this reagard, "India" (or rather Lemuria) has been sundered by the great Saint Timur the Lame himself in his final act of willpower before ascending to heaven. And he saw it was good. He then leveled down Tibetan Plateau in his act of kindness, turning it into fertile plain. The remnants of India he craved to destroy were pushed all the way back to the shores of Madagascar where they rest for this day. Be ready to experience this accurate representation of the Indian Subcontinent.

(mod was developed by Mr. Robert/docRobert over the past few months from the running joke on AB Discord server. Published on Steam by great user NameTag)

Compatibility & load order

– As mod edits map heavily, any other mod that alters map files is NOT compatible
– Mod had to alter cultures.txt file to make some necessary rearrangements. Other submods which change cultures would require compatibility patch.
– Other submods that just add flavour or mechanics will be compatible as long as they don’t edit previously mentioned files
– This mod includes Ante Bellum: Map Overhaul sub-mod within itself! Do not use them both at the same time.
– Submod must be loaded AFTER main Ante Bellum mod and AFTER any graphical mods

Submod should be compatible with any graphics mod but under some conditions. Graphical mods must be loaded before this mod in order for the map to be displayed correctly. Why? Well, in order to make such drastic changes to the map, terrain and water shaders had to be reworked. Otherwise, new landmasses would look like sea floor and there will be ghostly leftovers of original land’ shape. This means that despite using graphical mods, colour of water is forced to be dark-blue.
(of course this does not apply if someone makes graphical mod dedicated for Lore-Accurate India)

I hope you enjoy this sub-mod brought to you by Mr. Robert and published by NameTag (yes that is me), so umm… have fun ig
