This was my second attempt at an Amazon faction overhaul, except it’s a lot less ambitious. By just converting the units of one of my favourite cultures, the Illyrians, I could focus on trying to make them look fitting, without repeatedly breaking the game and/or save files.
I don’t have any plans of changing the Illyrians gameplay-wise. If I ever do, it’ll be an optional mod. Have fun!
This mod to turns all Illyrian units (except for Slave Slingers & Javelinmen and the generic greek artillery units) into women.
It affects all Illyrian factions, not just the Ardiaei. I tried my best to make them look cool but still Illyrian and keeping their rugged hellenic/barbarian aesthetic intact.
Going to post some screenshots soon, I hope.
