Description:

Succubus Dungeon features a new, playable, evil civilization. This takes inspiration from Dungeon Keeper and other “be the Evil” games. In this mod, roles are switched. Goblins come to trade with you and other dwwarven, elven and human civs attack your fort, sometimes at the same time with disastrous results. You can also install the mod if you wish a new invader against your dwarven fort. Succubi bring new challenges to overcome, thanks to their selection of creatures.

Many elements of this mod make use of DFHack. It’s not mandatory, but installing it will unlock the full experience.

Features
  • A new race of evil demon girls (and demon boys).
  • Defend yourself with various monsters.
  • Fire immune citizens.
  • Generate magma anywhere, make magma forges, traps, waterfalls…
  • Get slade blocks to build an authentic demonic spire.
  • Attract visitors and turn them into half demons.
  • Capture invaders and turn them into zombies.
  • Give magic powers to your select citizens.

Known issues and gotchas
  • You will get kidnapping alerts every time merchants leave your site. You can ignore that.
  • As of the current version, the succubi treat magma as an obstacle.
  • Remember that creatures store heat. A succubus who touched fire may burn items.
  • Corrupted creatures may not obey you right away, they may have unfinished business.

Playing as Succubi

The gameplay is a variant of your usual dwarven fort, with more of this and less of that. You cannot make steel but instead rely on magma traps and powerful monsters. A few of them are intelligent enough to complete jobs on their own.

You can generate slade at will. It’s free but very heavy and will require careful stockpile management and wheelbarrows to fully take advantage of that. Since flux stone is not as precious and slade can used as material, make sure to set up their usage Stones menus. Alternatively, the Float Glass Furnace allows you to produce glass construction materials in large quantities.

Don’t forget that some jobs, such as “Make Metal Bed” let you select materials by clicking on the magnifying glass icons.

This mod is designed for minimal conflicts. There are minor edits to vanilla creatures and both dwarven and goblin entities.

Graphics are based on the Creature Graphics Extended by Jacko, and installing it is recommended.

This civilization is also compatible with the following mods:
