Movable Cities
A mod that allows players to move their cities.
Description:
- Human players can move cities to adjacent tiles after completing a certain project.
- Cities can only be moved to adjacent tiles (that units can pass, can settle and with no other civ’s units on), which are indicated in green when the button is selected.
- You can’t move a city if: This city is your original capital; This city is your current capital and your original capital no longer belongs to you; The city is the original capital of a defeated civilization.
- The new city copies the population, name, and religion, as well as tiles, districts, buildings, and improvements within 3 tiles. If districts and buildings are 4 tiles away, the new city can complete the districts and buildings instantly when you rebuild them. But the wonders will not be preserved.
- Special buildings and districts such as aqueducts and water mills are also retained if the conditions do not meet after the move.
- The new city can complete the wonders (that used to be in the city before the move) instantly when rebuilding (if you subscribe to Movable Cities: Wonders Reserved )!
