Are you tired of seeing France blob everywhere? Are you sick of colonial Ottomans? Have you ever wanted Qing or the Mughals to form? Then this mod is for you.
For those who want tougher and more immersive campaigns without changing game mechanics.
I’ve added many small changes to steer the game along a more historical path, but there’s still plenty of room for some cool alt history!
An addon to Beyond Typus – Version 1.8 – Now incorporated into IR and Plus Ultra
Overhauled lucky nations system
-More lucky nations, including Taungu and Manchu
-A new "decline" modifer that gives penalties to historically unlucky empires such as Mali and late-game Ottomans (AI only)
New historical friendships
-Spain and Austria are historical friends; blobbing as France will require pushing through this powerful alliance bloc!
-Castile and Aragon are historical friends – expect a more stable and powerful Iberia.
-Hungary and Poland are historical friends, join the Eastern European alliance as they crusade against the Ottomans!
-If AI Poland chooses a local noble, Lithuania will no longer be its historical friend (which can lead to crazy stuff like Poland and Russia allying)
Improved Asia
-Ming is now railroaded to die around 1650 (also AI only)
-Manchu gets strong bonuses in 1600 to help them form Qing!
-An event to allow the Mughals to form historically (see picture)
-An event to allow Taungu to expand historically
-An event to allow Aq Qoyunlu to annex the Qara Qoyunlu
General Gameplay Changes
-Being ahead of time in technology now gives strong bonuses, so admin tech isn’t useless anymore!
-AI is now smarter about picking Exploration Ideas, so no more Mamluk Australia every game.
