Push Cars by Hand (SP-Only)
Allows pushing cars around by hand, right click on a car and choose which side to push it from.
— ONLY WORKS IN SINGLE PLAYER CURRENTLY —
— Usage —
Right click on car and choose Push Vehicle from the menu then choose where to push it from.
Pushing from the front or rear grants a small bonus to pushing force and lowers fatigue penalties.
– Notes —
– Pushing a car gives a very small amount of Strength/Fitness XP.
– Pushing cars will burn calories.
– How much fatigue/endurance pushing a car costs is down to your fitness.
– You get a small bonus to shove distance based on your strength.
– There are minimum strength requirements that vary slightly based on the vehicle weight.
It’s essentially at least 3 strength to consider pushing then +1 str requirement per roughly 800kg of vehicle.
The baseline five strength can shove basically any vanilla car around and only really scrawny characters will have issues.
— Known Issues —
– Sometimes when doing multiple pushes in a row, the character will get stuck in path-finding. Reposition yourself and try again.
– Occasionally the sub-menus on Push From Left or Push From Right get stuck on screen, they can dismissed with a click.
– The push force is sometimes a little unstable between pushes, I suspect it’s the bullet physics lib being strange.
