Arts Academies Capped
Are you sick of your capitalists spamming arts academies? Do you hate it when they’ve queued up 10 more even though your capital already has 32 of them and you’re running a gigantic deficit of coal mines?
This mod does two things:
– Caps the number of buildable arts academies at 10 per state – 5 upon researching Romanticism and 5 more upon getting Realism.
– Sets arts academies to be unbuildable in unincorporated states, thus preventing the British from deploying their tactic of having thousands of colonized Africans spam masterworks like they’re a Da Vinci assembly line.
There is undoubtedly a better way to rebalance arts academies, but this is just a quick and crude way to nudge the AI into building things that are hopefully more useful.
Should be compatible with anything that does not edit the urban center buildings and society techs files, and might work anyway since the modifications here are very minor.
