Some Desperate Glory is a world war one mod made from the best assets I have been able to find in that setting. I have ported these assets over and received help from members of the community to fix vehicles and standardize inventories. Specifically from ‘had to sensor my name again.’ The credit for models belongs to others. Such as.

6 mostly complete maps: Argonne, Blanc Mont Ridge, Flanders Winter, Fort Douaumont Verdun, Isonzo, and my personal favorite the Somme. The included maps that are still very much a work in progress are: Belleau Wood, Hindenburg Line, Nuve Chapelle, Passionate, Gallipoli, and Road to Domascus.

Most tanks that played a prominent role in the war have been ported over along with many machine guns

France
Germany
Belgium
United Kingdom
United States
Russia
Austria-Hungary
Italy
Turkey
Also commonwealth nations like Scotland, Canada, India, and the ANZACS
The western front nations are pretty close to complete although the other nations still need work.

Currently the mod is Editor only. I would like to turn it into a multiplayer mod with conquest but do not know how to do that myself. Any help in doing so would be greatly appreciated.

Missions will come later once there are more maps added to the mod

More vehicles and small nations such as Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria will be added

Turn off specular maps. It makes the German skins look bad. I am currently looking to solve that issue

at least the Finish DLC is required to play this mod. Many guns and ammo and map assets are dependent on that update to work. You can try it without it but it will probably crash.

Please continue to let me know of any inconvenient bugs and I will do my best to fix them. And anyone who wants to contribute to making this mod the ww1 mod we have all been wanting . Please hit me up
