Description:

"Bound in tainted blood, they are driven only by an insatiable hunger for slaughter."

This mod adds the Bloodcursed as a new unit to the Khorne and Warriors of Chaos rosters, based on lore from Warhammer Fantasy RPG 2nd Edition – Ashes of Middenheim. There isn’t much known about them elsewhere nor is there any official artwork that I’m aware of, so as well as going off what was described in existing lore I also took some creative liberties when designing them.

FEATURES:
– The Bloodcursed are a relatively weak tarpit infantry unit, but have the Elemental, Expendable, Fear and Strider attributes as well as the Mark of Khorne with it’s relevant effects. Their magical attacks will also cause the Blood Tendrils contact effect, which decreases enemy melee defence and melee damage reflection.
– As a drawback, the Bloodcursed also have Untempered Fury, which forces them to Rampage as soon as they are within range of enemy units!
– 1 new Khorne-aligned Gift of Chaos for Warriors of Chaos factions that will add two units of Bloodcursed to the Gifted Unit pool when active.
Tabletop Caps support. The Bloodcursed are considered to be Core units.

RECRUITMENT IN CAMPAIGN:
– As Khornate factions: This unit can be recruited at any settlement that has a tier 1 or higher building in the Creatures chain.
– As Warriors of Chaos factions: Activate the associated Gift of Chaos to add them to the Gifted Unit pool. Since the Gift is associated with Khorne, not all Warriors of Chaos factions will have access to Bloodcursed.
– As the Legion of Chaos: This unit can be recruited at any settlement dedicated to Khorne without needing to be unlocked via the Demonic Glory system beforehand.

BUGS & ISSUES:
– None so far.
