Description:

This is a trimmed down version of [WOTC] Weapon and Item Overhaul: LW SMG Plugin for those who wish to use the cosmetics only. For the full SMG conversion use the WIO pack.

• Updates the conventional weapon’s cosmetics to remove the bar that runs along the bottom of the frame.
• Allows for customizing the weapon category (supports Conventional, Magnetic, Beam, Coil, and Laser tiers). By default leaves SMGs as Rifles, but can be changed in the configs. Only applies the change if the weapon category was not changed by another mod.
• When the SMG weapon category is changed from Rifle, will automatically add support for the new weapon cat to the Rifle Breakthrough so the SMG continues getting the bonus damage.

• Long War SMG Pack – WotC (unofficial) –OR– [WOTC] Renamed SMGs Mod (Compatible with A Better Barracks) — OR — [WOTC] LW2 Weapon Redux – SMGs — OR — Long War of the Chosen

• The Weapon Category change will only be applied if the SMG is a Rifle when this mod gets to it. If another mod changes the weapon category then this mod will leave that category alone.
• This is designed to play nice with [WOTC] Weapon and Item Overhaul: LW SMG Plugin so if you have both this mod will quietly do nothing.
• If you change the weapon cat, you will have to use something like [WOTC] Open Class Weapon Restrictions to allow soldiers to use the weapon.
• Updates the models just fine for Long War of the Chosen.
• Also works fine with [WOTC] SMG-Bullpups
