Hey

Small submod that tries to distinguish further between the 3 types of city buildings (normal city, fortified city, allied city)
In DeI, they would be too similar for my taste and I would eventually not really care about which one I used.

I tried to specialize them further with the following changes:

FORTIFIED city:
– Added defensive bonuses
– Further lowered the wealth bonus
– Gave it a small PO bonus
– (with CT submod) Average culture

Basically a military fort good to defend strategic regions, recruit troops (has 2 recruitment points) or handle bad PO in a province of the same culture

"NORMAL" City:
– (with CT submod) High culture

Your go-to city for long term occupation. Good wealth bonus, 1 recruitment point, small technology bonus, good culture bonus but PO penalty. It might be hard to establish in a newly conquered region with really bad PO and/or different culture

ALLIED City:
– high reduction of PO penalty from different culture
– penalty to your influence
– increased wealth bonus
– added T4 pop (foreigners) bonus, reduce the other populations
– Doesnt grant you a recruitment point anymore
– (with CT submod) Lowest culture of all cities

The highest potential for income. Can be used in that regard in secured economic regions (where you dont need to recruit that much) and where you already are culturally dominant.
Alternatively, can be established in a culturally tense region or in a province where you hold only 1 or 2 regions.
Be carefull about spamming it as it comes with a penalty on your influence.

OTHER TWEAKS:
– reworked Ports bonuses (except the fish one). Military port is more costly, but better at reducing piracy. Normal Shipwright is more industry oriented. Trade port can import more food
– All libraries give bonus to dignitaries (except barbs) with greeks having the best bonus
– The whole colosseum chain (romans) give bonus to champion, not just the last building.
– Firefighter chain (romans) only gives bonus to spies (was ALL agents before)
– Inn (greeks) only gives bonus to spies (was ALL agents before)

ps: This submod is best used with Cultural Tension submod that also adds culture bonus to main city buildings
