Better Terrain Layer
Improves the visibility and level of detail of the Contour Lines Layer. With this mod, you are able to build and plan more precisely.
By default there are 4 types of lines (100, 50, 10 and 2 m) which are not always best perceivable. This mod increases the line thickness and distance, so they are more easily recognizable from a higher distance. The detail lines get a resolution of 1m.

New: There is now a mod setting for even more details, which is practical for flat maps.
Pro Tip: The rendering accuracy for flat terrain lines when zooming out can be improved: Go to the debug settings (AltGr+D) and change "Terrain LOD error+radius" from 1 to 10. (However, this will reduce FPS)
