BRDM-2 (Work in Progress)
The BRDM-2 (Boyevaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina, Боевая Разведывательная Дозорная Машина, literally "Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle")[5] is an amphibious armoured scout car used by states that were part of the Soviet Union and its allies. It was also known under the designations BTR-40PB, BTR-40P-2 and GAZ 41-08. This vehicle, like many other Soviet designs, has been exported extensively and is in use in at least 38 countries. It was intended to replace the older BRDM-1, and has improved amphibious capabilities and better armament compared to its predecessor.
As you can see, this work is a WIP, but I wanted people to try it out and provide feedback along the way.
It features two moving parts which activate upon entering and leaving the water.
There is a known bug where the screen will turn white and the game will freeze. I don’t know what is causing this but I will try to fix it.
For anybody asking me about changes to my other mods, there was a memory allocation failure with my other unity project so any future changes would have to be a full remake.
The model apart from the wheels were made by me but the wheels themselves are from Armoured Warfare. I’m going to take a break from modding to focus on my studies (engineering moment), but I’ll come back at a later date.
