XX train plant
The mod contains one medium-sized railway equipment factory. Its characteristics are approximately 75% of vanilla plant. There is a small warehouse and platforms for unloading imported raw materials on the territory. Finished products are placed on rails on the other side of the building. Parking spaces can be placed on the front site. Compatible parking for 32 spaces is being built on top of the building. It is possible to connect the building to a separate medium voltage network. Heating is not required. It is being built in three stages: earthworks, brick laying (3 cranes), finishing.
This building was built approximately in 1922-1926 for the Valencian company Construcciones Devis founded by Talleres Devis in 1879.
In 1947, as a result of the merger of «Construcciones Devis» and «Sociedad Material para Ferrocarriles y Construcciones S.A.» from Barcelona, «Material y Construcciones S.A.» (MACOSA) was founded. This coincided with the beginning of the industrialization of Spain.
Initially, the organization was not entirely focused on rail transport, producing buses, trolleybuses and other road transport systems. In the years following its founding, the company expanded and the Valencia plant grew by 0.05 km2, becoming one of the largest rolling stock manufacturers in Spain.
In the 1950s, the Valencia plant manufactured steam boilers and built and repaired steam and electric locomotives and other rolling stock. The plant in Valencia also produced other heavy engineering products such as cranes, metal parts for dams. The Alcázar de San Juan also had a small factory for the production and maintenance of vans.
At the end of 2015, the company was sold to Stadler Rail for 48 million euros.
