Description:
Overview

This mod only includes config and localization files. You can use this as a base to your own modifications or as-is if you’re fine with the changes.

These configs are not made with Long War of the Chosen in mind, user discretion is advised.

Required mods are not mandatory, of course, but you will be missing some fixes without them.

Other fixes in this mod

Vanilla localization (English only)
  • Fixed some typos.
  • Added missing info and clarification to some abilities.
  • Shortened and clarified shot breakdown text entries.
  • Fixed a broken male Sharpshooter photobooth line (also the same one in some mods), found in Male Sharpshooter Quote Fix.

Mod localization (English only)

Vanilla config
  • Templar Bladestorm is now an expensive (25 AP) XCOM perk. I’m sorry not sorry, the original config had Bladestorm in it, they probably meant TemplarBladestorm.
  • Templar Ghost can no longer get Quickdraw, Reaper or FanFire.
  • Added some missing debug starting items.
  • Low Profile SITREP won’t have the Chosen or Rulers in the mission just like Surgical.
  • Added more grapple and teleport type abilities to ignore Overwatch. Vanilla config only had some of them.
  • Feedback damage from Templars’ Feedback Resistance Order now ignores armor and is Psi damage type.
  • Battlelord action limit removed.
  • Added HunterRifleShot (vanilla) and DPTT_MilitiaStandardShot (Don’t Pull That Trigger) as valid Lost headshot abilities.
  • Added psioffense in Build Item categories to fix Cut Content Psionics items not showing up.
  • Modified vanilla enemy stats to make more sense for Rookie/Veteran difficulties.
  • BlazingPinions added to Fortress immunities.
  • Stasis and Sustain now remove damage over time effects and frost/chill/bitterfrost.
  • Added more damage types in MedikitHealEffectTypes array.
  • Added more damage types in DamagedTeleport_DmgNotAllowed array.
  • Added more abilities in IgnoreAbilitiesForOverdrive array (for DLC_3Overdrive).

Community Highlander config
  • Smoke and Gas Grenades ignore cover, smoke only works while you’re staying in it.
  • Will loss fixed on multipart missions. Each part has its own cap without this which causes higher than normal Will loss.
  • Poison and bleeding DoTs now ignore shields.

Template Master config
  • Gave Refraction Field a Black Market value.
  • Proper equip sounds for a couple things.
  • Removed duplicate Vault icon from Icarus Armor if you have Passive Icons Core Collection Edition.
  • Purchasing Beam Grenade Launcher schematic now hides the Advanced Grenade Launcher schematic just like how other schematics work.
  • Item tiers standardized a bit, has its own file.
  • Removed special equip/unequip functions from Ruler armors as they would mess with unrelated cosmetics as well.
  • Corrected WeaponTech for some modded weapons.
