This is currently an alpha build and is mainly for playtesting and gathering feedback. Patches will be frequent and there may be bugs and possible loss of saves, this is nowhere near the final product and there’s still quite a bit to do so be wary 🙂

About:

Cold War Project is a mod that aims to simulate the geopolitical tensions and conflicts of the Cold War era. Adding new custom features, mechanics, and events that allow players to experience the ideological struggle between the Western and Eastern blocs, and beyond.

  • Fully Integrated ARoAI by Anbeeld.
  • Fully Reworked Economy.
  • Fully Reworked Army system.
  • Fully Reworked Tech tree until 2046.
  • Reworked ideologies, interest groups, pop types, and party systems.
  • Corruption system unique to CWP.
  • UN System with predetermined & dynamic resolutions..
  • New laws & policies to dictate the trajectory of your nation
  • New production chains & resources.
  • Accurate populations and map for 1946.
  • IMF and International Debt system
  • Currencies and Monetary Mechanics

Our current goals are:
  • Adding new systems and mechanics in order to represent the era with as much accuracy as possible.
  • Adding and representing a wide range of historical events, such as the Korean War, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Vietnam War, as well as the emergence of non-aligned countries and the rise of new superpowers.
  • Further expanding on our already implemented mechanics.
  • Refining and reworking almost all systems of the base game completely in order to fit and immerse the player in the Cold War
