DDR Rundkino

Das "Rundkino" wurde 1972 in der DDR gebaut und ist ein sehr markantes Bauwerk aus der Stadt Dresden.

Das Gebäude ist Kollisionsfrei und benötigt einen flachen Untergrund.
Die Kosten sind an dem Vanila-Kino orientiert und wurden durch die Anzahl der Besucher hochgerechnet.
Alle DDR-Gebäude werden von mir in dieser Kollektion gesammelt.
Über das "Rundkino Dresden":
Das Rundkino wurde 1972 an der Prager Straße in Dresden errichtet und war der dritte zylinderförmige Bau der DDR. Das Projekt wurde bereits 1966 in einem Wettbewerb ausgeschrieben und sollte ein Kontrast zu den quaderförmigen Bauten in der Umgebung bilden. Es hat einen Durchmesser von 50m und eine Höhe von 20m. Im Inneren gab es mehrere Veranstaltungsräume, Büros und natürlich den Hauptsaal welcher 1018 Besuchern Platz bot. Außerdem gab es noch einen kleineren Saal welcher 132 Besucher beherbergen konnte. Das Kino wurde hauptsächlich aus Ortbeton in Gleitbauweise errichtet und hatte eine stolze Summe von 14.800.000 DDR-Mark gekostet. Das Interessanteste war die Dachkonstruktion. Welches mittels einer Seilnetzhängekonstruktion bestehend aus 96 radial gespannten Stahlseilen umgesetzt wurde. In diese Seilkonstruktion wurden dann Fertigteile aus Beton eingehängt und mit Ortbeton verfugt.
Im Erdgeschoss wurden viele Glasfronten eingebaut und die äußere Wand mit Ornamenten aus Stahl ausgestaltet. Der schmalere Zylinder wurde mit Aluminiumplatten in vertikaler Anordnung verkleidet.

About the "Rundkino Dresden":
The circular cinema was built in 1972 at Prager Street in Dresden and was the third cylindrical building in the GDR. The project was advertised in a competition as early as 1966 and was intended to contrast with the cuboid buildings in the area. It has a diameter of 50m and a height of 20m. Inside there were several function rooms, offices and of course the main hall which could accommodate 1018 visitors. There was also a smaller hall which could accommodate 132 visitors. The cinema was mainly built from concrete using slip-form construction and cost a sum of 14,800,000 GDR marks. The most interesting thing was the roof construction. Which was implemented using a cable net suspension construction consisting of 96 radially tensioned steel cables. Prefabricated concrete parts were then hung into this cable construction and grouted with concrete.
Many glass fronts were installed on the ground floor and the outer wall was decorated with steel ornaments. The narrower cylinder was covered with aluminum panels in a vertical arrangement.
