Gallic Rome
Raised as a Roman Pagan the governor of Belgica couldn’t stand idle by the Christianisation of the once mighty Roman Empire. Ever since the acceptance of the Christian God he saw the Empire decline in what could have only been Jupiters wrath. Rising in rebellion against his Christian Emperor who’s nothing but a puppet of a Vandal general, he seeks to restore the once mighty Roman Empire to it’s former grandeur. Yet many challenges remain to the self-proclaimed Emperor of Gallic Rome. For Germanic barbarians threaten the borders of his fledgeling Empire, and Rome would surely not let this ‘treason’ happen should they really be as mighty as they say. Overcome these challenges and assure a re-forged Roman Empire that will stand against the challenges the migrations of the Huns bring forth.
In this mod you’ll play as the self appointed emperor of Gallic Rome. You start with control over the province of Belgica. This mod also features fluffy victory conditions.
Down the line I’ll be adding extra features to the mod such as:
– Empire formation event(s) -> You are now able to confederate with other Western Roman factions to form the Roman Empire.
– Custom units (Think of Gallic legionaires) -> First 7 new variations on the classic Roman roster are now live!
– Custom graphics (main menu map, better faction emblem) -> the emblem has been changed. Map is also done.
Keep in mind that modding is not my day job, I’ll try to work as hard as I can.
