[K4G] Empires of Old – The Rising Sun
“For the Child!” The warriors scream as their blades clash against metal and carve into flesh. Blood stains the ground beneath soldiers’ feet as they mercilessly slaughter their adversaries, until they themselves are butchered. The sickening smell of death fills the air. Nothing survives the fury of the dynasty’s campaign, and the corpses of the fallen lie scattered upon the ground in its wake. These men fear no death. To them, serving their emperor is nothing less than an honor and a privilege. A true believer would rather die with honor on the battlefield than fail in their sacred duty and live as a traitor to their people. Banzai!

The Rising Sun is the second installation in my Empires of Old mod series. This series aims to expand upon RimWorld’s lore and introduce new alien civilizations to the game.
The dynasty is one of the most ruthless and bloodthirsty forces in the galaxy. Its people are fiercely religious. Their creed demands complete obedience to their god and emperor, the Child. His grace commands his warriors to fight a holy crusade across the galaxy. Millions have died in his name. Survivors rarely recover from the horrors they witnessed. Fiery demons unleashed upon their homes, leaving nothing but ash and death in their wake.

Pawns from this faction are extremely difficult to recruit. They will never retreat.

– 1 new empire faction.
– New royal titles and permits.
– New Royal Ascent, Deserter, and Royal Wimp quests.
– 1 new culture.
– 859 real Japanese names.

This mod is compatible with CE and VFE – Empire. The new factions will not make use of the new royalty mechanics, such as the Great Hierarchy.
Patched for:
