ADF Re-Cut [Beta]
NOTE: This mod is in active development and subject to updates at any time. Some assets in the current build are unfinished. Bug reports and feedback welcome on the GitHub.
A continuation of the Australian Defence Force Uncut mod from many years ago. ADF Re-Cut aims to finish the original goal of creating an authentic and polished Arma 3 mod that represents the Australian Defence Force.
ADF Re-Cut is a community-driven project. The code, configs, and scripts are on GitHub and open to contributions:
- Bug fixes and improvements
- Config work
- Scripting
- New features
- Documentation

3D modellers: We’re also looking for talented artists to join the core team for asset creation. Hit us up on Discord.
ADF Re-Cut is the work of many hands across the Arma community, including the original ADFU team, the Project: Uncut team, the Arma 3 Aegis/Atlas team, and everyone in our Discord providing feedback and testing.
For the full list, see https://github.com/IsoBones/ADFRC/blob/main/CONTRIBUTORS.md.
ADF Re-Cut is licensed under APL-SA[www.bohemia.net] (Arma Public License Share Alike), with additional protections on the team’s original 3D models.
In plain terms:
- ✅ Code, configs, scripts, and textures are open source on GitHub — fork it, contribute to it, learn from it
- ✅ Use the mod in your missions, on your servers, and in your community — that’s what it’s for
- ❌ Do not reupload this mod to the Workshop or anywhere else with models included
- ❌ Do not extract, repack, or reuse the team’s 3D models in other mods or projects
- ❌ Commercial use is not permitted (APL-SA term)
Why the model restriction? The 3D models were created by our original developers (Quiggs, Brucey, Index, Codex, exer, and others) and remain their property. They are distributed only in binarised form as part of this mod. They cannot be extracted, reverse-engineered, or used in other projects. If you want to fork or build on our open-source work, clone the GitHub repository[github.com] — don’t extract from the Workshop release.
For full licensing details, see https://github.com/IsoBones/ADFRC/blob/main/LICENSE.md and https://github.com/IsoBones/ADFRC/blob/main/ASSETS_LICENSE.md.
If you’re enjoying the mod, a positive rating and a share with your mates or unit goes a long way. Cheers.
