Description:
This is a submod for "Ye Olde Skool Gotrek and Felix!" from Chapter Serf, Hail to him for the TWW3 conversion of the mod.

WHAT THIS DOES
——————–

This mod intend to use Gotrek & Felix as a hero single entity, with a full progression system (based on Chapter Serf’s mod), AND keep the original recruitement feature (with some enhancement), with a timer and wandering hero from faction to faction.

I’ve made some adds and some changes (tweaked skilltree, added special ancilliaries and upgradable trait to represent Felix ; may be need some balance, so if you got feedback, this will be appreciated) and MCT compatibility to chose which culture can recruit Gotrek & Felix.

You can now choose which culture can have access to the Dynamic Duo with the Mod Configuration Tool by Groove Wizard ! (even Chaos or worse… Elves, you fools)
(done some tests but not with all cases, do not hesitate to report me any issues, bad script happens)

HOW THAT WORKS ?

Basically, that works nearly like the original Gotrek & Felix feature, but with a more dynamic system :

When you have done the required building, a marker will spawn : the player will have 1 to 3 turns to recruit Gotrek (note remaining "waiting turns" are hidden, so dont miss them !) and for now, Gotrek is set to stay at your service for 20 turns, once his duty is done, he will leave the player to join an AI faction for 10 to 15 turns and then get back to the player and so on. But if the player wait too long to recruit him, the maker will disappear and Gotrek will directly join another faction and the marker will be back to the player (again with a limited time to recruit them) when the AI timer is done, as the cycle between allowed factions is engaged.

Gotrek & Felix, as a "unique hero", will keep his gained levels (but points will need to be redispached each time you recruit it – I dont know how or if thats even possible to copy and report a skill build) and will be granted with a bunch of new perks as long he will travel from faction to faction.

WHAT SHOULD COME (if i succeed to script it… when i’ll get time and courage to try)

-I would enhance even more the system with a real dynamic building check (actually, only player is checked, so if a player with faction aviability never make the right building, Gotrek will never spawn during the game even for AI).
-I would add new gainable traits based on faction Gotrek has worked for.
-I would also go further on this mechanic, with a random mission system to increase the aviability timer (if you got ideas to how to make this, do not hesitate to contact me).

SOME TRICKY THINGS

– I dont know how to add the feature to Nakai, as a horde faction, the script dont work with him (because he dont have reference settlement to spawn the marker).
– I really dont know if the mod will work correctly in multiplayer (i play only solo to TWW), so if you experience it, a feedback will be welcome.
