Description:

Removes or reduces majority of visual cues related to unit selection.

The game tends to use multiple neon highlights to communicate the same thing (hex highlights, unit outlines, banners, markers). It’s a bit too much, I can see what I’m targeting just fine, thank you.

This is a follow-up to my Smaller Combat Banners mod and is best used in conjunction with it, but works fine as a standalone.

What it does:
– Removes majority of pulsating outlines around units on both strategic and tactical maps. Leaves some of the outlines displayed when hovering over a unit while reducing their opacity.
– Removes the red hex highlight on targeted units during fights.
– Removes the glowing hex FX from Shield Wall and Warding
– Reduces opacity for other hex highlights during fights (green, gold, purple and white).
– Reduces opacity for unit movement range and shooting range during fights.
– Removes the flowing hex portion of the unit selection FX,

Makes tactical battles slightly more cinematic and immersive.

Update 15/05/2023 – Removed the glowing hex FX from Shield Wall and Warding.
Update 16/05/2025 – Fixed the crash introduced with the Orge update. Removed parts of the unit selection FX.
