Age of Tomes
Adds 6 new Tomes to the game:
- T1 – Tome of Tides – Grants Lesser Tide Elmental, as well as crowd control and ability to inflict Wet. // Art done by Discord user Mustang#3016.
- T1 – Tome of Witchcraft – Grants custom unit Witch, as well thematic spells for witches. New status condition Jinxed wich lowers status resistance. // Art done by Discord user Mustang#3016.
- T1 – Tome of Astrology- Grants custom unit Astrologer, as well as delayed spells in the form of Predictions, and a new status condition Aligned, wich boosts critical damage and morale. // Tome Art by Discord user Jack Jewel, the Pariah#4849
- T1 – Tome of Hunger – Grants access to Ogres, as well as raw physical dmg and life drain with the new status condition Hunger. Check how I did the Tome in the Tome Tutorial here or below.
- T2 – Tome of the Seelie – Grants Spring and Summer fairies, as well as healing and support spells.
- T2 – Tome of the Unseelie – Grants Autumn and Winter fairies, as well as debuff and damage spells.
I’ll keep adding Tomes to this mod over time, focusing on the first 3 Tiers of Tomes, to improve the variety in the early-mid game.
This is a work in progress, so help me find bugs or give me suggestions to make the tomes more fun.
I’m looking for artists that want to selflessly collaborate with me to make new graphics for Tome and tome skills.
Only added some Tag references to a couple of wildlife units that didn’t have those.
You can check this Tome Mod Tutorial that I did for the Tome of Hunger update, which covers the creation of Tome of Hunger from scratch. As it looks into most aspects of tome creation, it’s very in depth, so it’s about 8h of commented footage.
