Description:
A hopefully simple mod that allows you to join an existing dynasty and become someone’s child (or sibling) through simple decisions.

If you are like me, you have on occasion wanted to play as a member of an existing dynasty or the fictional child of an existing person. There are a few mods on the workshop that accomplish this, but they are either out of date or a bit too complicated for my liking.

There are four decisions in total, accessible at the start of the game trough character interaction. Become Child (Father), Become Child (Mother), Join House and Become Sibling.

Become Child (Father) allows you to make any living male character that is older than you your father

Become Child (Mother) allows you to make any living female character that is older than you your mother

Join House allows you to join either of your parent’s House, can only target living parents

Become Sibling allows you to become someone’s full-blood sibling, same parents same house

Create Cadet House allows you to create a cadet House after using the ‘Join House’ decision by right-clicking on yourself

There are a few necessary restrictions, which are;

– you can’t be the child of someone younger than you

– the target has to be alive (dead characters can’t be targeted by decisions)

– the respective decisions won’t show up if you already have parents (the mother one if you already have a mother, the father one if you have a father and the sibling one if you have either).

– The decisions will be become unavailable one year after game start.

Yes, I might add more options in the future, for now I’m happy with how it works
