Description:
Latest update includes a new major feature is the addition of an addition zoom layer between hip fire and ADS.
This new layer includes the crosshair, is intended for shooting in the prone position since it is not possible to perfectly align the sights at all stances.

This mod replaces the ADS vignettes for small arms with the actual in-game weapon model’s sights that were present in the old Conquest Enhanced mod. This allows for a more immersive experience closer to an FPS game, and allows for play without the in-game HUD. To disable the HUD press CRT + SHIFT + ALT + D.

Since the perspective can change at different stances, some weapons such as bazookas and pistols will use a generic first person zoom to make it easier to aim. Accuracy of each weapon has been tuned to the front sight, but the player doesn’t have laser precision. Cross-hairs are still active on some weapon views

This should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t modify base game small arms or small arms accuracy file. If you are playing with a mod that modifies the camera, make sure to load this mod last.

Infantry

To use first person mode, go in direct control and press ‘T’. As an infantryman you can right click to aim down sights. ***You cannot do ADS for MGs while free standing. This means you must either set up behind cover, crouch or go prone.***

Vehicles

In an effort to increase immersion, all direct fire emplacements and MGs now have locked 1st person view from the gunner’s perspective in addition to the sight optics.

Cannons that are too large to see over, or have obstructions in the gunner’s face like a shield can switch to commander view to scan your surroundings. You can use the mouse wheel to switch between possible views.

Tanks

Tank vision is now locked to 1st person, meaning that the game will play more like Post Scriptum than War Thunder. This means that you can no longer view the entire vehicle in 3rd person to peek corners, but will be forced to switch between the gunner sights and tank commander view. You can do this similarly to how infantry There are two types views:

Unbuttoned

Tanks that already exist in game where the commander can stick their head out to either man an MG or look around will have a 1st person view from that perspective

Buttoned up

For the rest of the tanks, commanders will be forced to use a periscope to view their surroundings.

Looking around through the gun sights with some larger tanks like the is2 and Tiger will be slower to simulate slower turret traversing speed.I have adapted many of the commonly used direct fire vehicles for each faction, but not all of them. I may add more over time, but it does take quite a lot of work.
