Rome Burning Gothic Unit Pack

Hi Everybody!

This mod adds 18 new units to the Gothic Factions

For all Factions:

Freed Slaves: Freed Gothic slaves armed with a spear and shield. Only recruitable from Roman cities

Gothic Auxilia Defectors: Gothic warriors who have fought for Rome and defected. They carry a spatha, javelin and oval shield and wear a helmet

Gothic Auxilia Palatina: These warriors fight like the Auxilia Palatina of the the two Roman Empires. The carry a spear and shield, and wear heavy mail armor

Gothic Footmen: Heavy Gothic warriors wearing scale and carrying a falx

Gothic Hearthguard: Think Huscarls from AOE2. They aren’t super strong in melee, but have a high missile block chance.

Gothic Raiders: Elite archers clad in leather and armed with a composite bow and a spatha for defence

Gothic Scavengers: These warriors use captured Roman weapons found on the battlefield. They carry a spatha and pilum. They are only recruitable from ruins and Roman settlements

Gothic Veterans: These veteran warriors fight with Roman weapons and discipline, but carry a gothic style shield to avoid being mistaken for an enemy.

Thracian Skrimishers: Medium skirmishers armed with javelins, an oval shield and a spear for defence.

For the Ostrogoths:

Elite Ostrogothic Lancers: Elite lancers with scale armor and a spatha for close quarter fighting.

Ostrogothic Brigands: Raiding cavalry armed with javelins. They aren’t very good in melee, so try to keep them at range

Ostrogothic Nobles: Well armored cavalry armed with a spear and a large round shield

Ostrogothic Skirmishers: Light skirmishers armed with javelins and a gothic style shield. They’ve only got a dagger for defense so keep them away from melee

Ostrogothic Spear Masters: Heavy Spearmen armed with a javelin. Great on the defensive.

For the Visigoths

Visigothi Spearmen: Spearmen with a gothic style shield.

Visigothic Axemen: Axemen armed with a javelin and clad in mail. They have a round shield for defense

Visigothic Oathsworn: These heavy infantry carry a heavy spatha, javelins and a large round shield for defense. Their armor is scale

Visigothic Warriors: Warriors armed with a gothic style shield and a spatha. They are better suited for attack than defense, but can play that role decently well if they need to.
