Description:
Not quite the first version. The translation into English is almost finalized. The balance seems to be realistic.

Now I’m using Trello[trello.com] for project management.

New!

Balanced AI

Now you don’t need mods for the number of building slots, develop counties with the gift of blood, and you shall have slots (up to 6 slots at 80 development, with a minimum of 3 slots achievable at 20 development)

At any stage of the game (for those who are not starting from scratch), you can now use the decision regarding the appearance of those who seek immortality, as well as choosing one of the first three properties (this decision can only be made once per game).

About.

I initially developed this mod for my own enjoyment but decided to share it in case others are interested in the same concept. Specifically, the inspiration behind this mod came from two factors: my appreciation for the Highlander Immortals mod and my desire for a larger number of immortals. I also enjoy collecting characters with desirable traits and improving them. Additionally, I’ve always wanted to introduce new properties to the game.

By combining all these elements, my mod came to life, where inherited properties serve as a pathway for players to become immortals. Each property has its own distinct characteristics, decisions, and interactions. These features are carefully balanced, and the AI is capable of utilizing them.

Currently, the mod’s balance is still a work in progress, but I will continue playing and refining certain settings. If anyone else chooses to use the mod in their game, I welcome feedback on the balance or suggestions for new features.

I won’t provide an exhaustive description of everything this mod offers at this time. You can read detailed information about each property within the mod itself and try it out in the game.

A brief description of the possibilities, where the numbers are the rank of the property:

  1. Distributor. The first genetic modification that can be spread through bites. It also allows for regeneration from wounds and continuous learning of random skills.
  2. Centenarian 1. Striving for Immortality. Global inheritable change that provides more advantages. Still allows the genetic modification to be spread through biting. Now, studying a random skill can extend lifespan. It offers new abilities such as healing any physical and psychological problems, blessing knights with valor and vitality, becoming a voodoo doll for vengeance against enemies, and most importantly, engaging in duels with criminals, taking a portion of their life (upon victory), the main challenge being to avoid defeat.
  3. Centenarian 2. Striving for Immortality. Capable of living much longer, it provides tremendous advantages in the game. It does not lose chivalry. It cannot spread the trait, but now it is possible to train a specific skill rather than a random one. It also has new properties, such as the ability to sacrifice its life to develop its capital, sprinkling it with its special blood (increasing the number of building slots during development, up to a maximum of 6 at development level 80); the ability to create special armies (small in size) for self-defense, and most importantly, by sacrificing its life, it can bestow long life upon warriors or advisors (2 options for prestige-related properties). Now your court will be much stronger.
  4. Centenarian 3. Striving for Immortality. In addition to having a sufficiently long life, it gains bonuses to prestige and faith. It does not lose chivalry. Besides training skills, it can now improve its education. It also has new abilities: it can use the right of blood to imprison a sworn criminal, has the ability to create a special army for self-defense (medium in size); it can make sacrifices of prisoners from other religions, which result in a significant increase in lifespan, but this decision has consequences; instead of developing its own capital, it can develop all controlled territories (+increasing the number of building slots during development, up to a maximum of 6 at development level 80); and most importantly, by sacrificing its life, it can enhance its army and knights.
  5. Striving for Immortality. The latest inheritable trait of the immortals. It has additional protection against plots. It does not lose chivalry. It doesn’t differ much from the previous traits but has a few additional features: it can hire special squads; it can create a special army for self-defense (large in size); in addition to developing all counties, it can also further develop the capital (+increasing the number of building slots during development, up to a maximum of 6 at development level 85); but most importantly, after reaching 60 years of age, it can make the decision of immortality.

There are also several possibilities for the immortals themselves, such as ascension. Depending on the castes, you can create special individuals endowed with unique traits.

I have around 20 additional new features planned for this mod. There are also numerous plans to expand the existing functionality, including introducing new castes or incorporating "negative traits" for centenarians.

Regarding balance, I will fine-tune the current traits, and in the future, I intend to implement a setting in the menu to adjust the strength of their impact on the world’s balance (i.e., the level of benefits conferred by these new traits).
