I recommend you play this mod with EID and Encyclopedia installed so you can understand how T David’s Pocket Item Works.
David – Kill for Soul
He starts with a custom Nail item that makes him unique in a way:
His custom Nail gives him effect similar to the base nail but without +½ black heart and gives eye of belial effect for the room.
Any enemy killed while under his nail’s effect will sometimes drop a soul that will give half a black heart, souls can drop to charge the nail
Right now birthright is very simple we will redo the birthrights in another update.
Tainted David – The Embraced
Tainted David starts with his own pocket item Book of Souls which has different effects depending on the treaty you choose, To Switch between Treaties press the R key.
He also has a soul gimmick similar to David but he has a soul counter that can be used as charges to use a certain treaty.
Only a max of 12 souls can be achieved at a time.
Tainted David can also gain different treaties by doing certain things in a run (currently two-ish)
He also has a gulped devil’s crown trinket so he must keep in mind on his HP
Tainted David’s Treaties
Treaty of Blood
Unlock:
Cost: 3 Souls
Effect: Does 5 damage to all enemies in the room and inflicts them with bleeding.
Treaty of Soul
Unlock: In Base Kit
Cost: 2 Soul
Effect: Spawns an Hungry soul nearby that attacks enemies and explodes.
Treaty of Evil
Unlock: In Base Kit
Cost: 8 Souls
Effect: On use gives the player a black heart.
Treaty of Satan
Unlock: (guaranteed)
Cost: 3 Souls
Effect :Increases the devil deal chance
