BattleMod
This mod makes a few changes related to space combat, and as secondary effect improve how well the AI handle that part of the game.
This mod is compatible with the major expansions Vaulters, Supremacy and Penumbra. Game patch version : 1.5.37

The changes :
Main features
-Add extra buffs to ship’s experience level (fire rate, damage, shields hp, evasion).
-Increase armor HP bonus (2x) and Shields HP (3x).
-Fighter and bombers are much faster than stock game.
-Fighters are now 3 per squadron, Bombers are now 2.
-Complete rework of flotillas combat paths (Same as Flotillas Pathing Rework v2).
-Many new tooltips to help designs ships properly.
Balance tweaks
-Fleet and siege modules now increase the odds to be targeted by enemy.
-Better ships to buy on the Marketplace.
-Analyzer modules now increase ship’s weapon critical hit chances.
-Recycling modules improve the repairs after battle for the ship it’s on.
-Influence modules now add fleet experience per turn.
-Boarding pods are slower, shoot less often (still *I win* weapons when opposition has no troops).
-Restrict boarding pods to support ships.
-Probes are now available to colony ships.
-Increased effects of fleet engines by 1.
Mod additions
-Added new white Weapons for each weapon types to be found while exploring anomalies.
-Added new class of weapons to discover in anomalies : The Helix Cannons.
-Added new class of weapons to discover in anomalies : The Plasma Pulser (formely Plasma Bolts).
-Added new white Armors and Shields to be found while exploring anomalies.
AI’s specifics
-Pirates have better ship designs.
-AI has improved design templates.
-Altered AI’s desire to make hard counters (work in progress).
-Cravers ships are weaker, but cost less upkeep, do 10% extra damage and hold more troops.
-Horatios ships have more troops, but cost more upkeep (Horatio care too much for the bling).
-Vodyanis ships cost less upkeep and hold a bit less troops.
-Sophons ships are weaker, but gets 10% bonus to damage.
